Haunted houses and trails are two fantastic ways to get a fright and thrill this Halloween. Children and adults alike can enjoy the thrill of the holiday this year all around Tennessee. Here are some of the best Memphis haunted houses and trails recommended by us at Gossett KIA South.

  • Shadowlands Festival of Fear – This attraction is open every Friday and Saturday from October 7th until Halloween night. Doors open at 7pm and close at 11pm. Prior to the main attraction, Jones Orchard holds a farmers market until 6 pm then maintains a corn maze, pumpkin patch, and child-friendly hayrides until 10 pm.
  • Spooky Nights – Hosted by Shelby Farms Park every weekend in October, Spooky Nights is home to Memphis’ first haunted trail. Families with children can check out the nocturnal wildlife on the Nocturnal Nature Hike then go pumpkin carving. The 4,500-acre park features a number of trails, exhibits, and activities that the whole family can enjoy.

2017 KIA Niro
2017 KIA Niro

The automotive industry has made major advances when it comes to fuel-efficient vehicles that currently operate around the globe. Hybrid and electric cars aren’t uncommon but no automaker has created a similar crossover until now. The 2017 Kia Niro is set to be the first fully-hybrid model of its kind.

The 2017 Kia Niro hybrid is expected to deliver a utility-driven ride with sporty performance while earning high fuel economy. This new hybrid crossover is set to redefine what it means to be a utility-focused hybrid.

Like one would expect from any crossover, the Kia Niro will boast versatile cargo space, like 60/40 split-folding rear seats and an available hidden cargo area with storage compartments.

The seats themselves will offer full support for the driver thanks to the available Integrated Memory Seat that can remember the settings for two drivers. The available heated steering wheel and front seats keeps drivers comfortable on the coldest of days as well.

The upcoming Kia Niro will boast a 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine paired with an electric motor. Together, they’ll produce an estimated 146 hp and 195 lb-ft of torque. Kia expects the Niro to earn up to 50 mpg combined.

We at Gossett KIA South can’t wait to see the new 2017 Niro officially hit public roadways!
