Best Cars for Families
We here at Gossett Kia South are happy to offer some of the best cars for families to the Memphis area, including the Soul and Cadenza.

Picking out the best car for your family can be difficult, especially if you’re on a tight budget and can’t afford to go a penny over. Fortunately, Kia makes some of the best cars for families, some of which have recently been recognized by U.S. News & World Report. The 2017 Kia Soul and Cadenza continue to uphold a reputation as affordable, stylish cars that are perfect for families!

2017 Kia Soul

The new Soul took the award for the Best Compact Car for Families for the second year running. The latest model boasts a stylish, unique design that makes it stand out on the road. A roomy interior and ride height make it a must-have for families on the move. As an added bonus, Kia’s UVO infotainment system can keep track of teen driver’s habits on the road.

2017 Kia Cadenza

Arguably the most luxurious model on Kia’s lineup, the 2017 Cadenza nabbed the Best Large Car for Families award. A spacious back seat and sunshade make it perfect for putting the kids down for a nap while on the road. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility make it a perfect car for younger drivers as well!

2017 Kia Niro Review

2017 Kia Niro
Available in five trims, the 2017 Kia Niro offers a strong set of excellent premium features at a price few competitors can match.

The 2017 Niro is the latest model to arrive in Kia’s lineup and it’s performing wonderfully when it comes to reviews. The all-new hybrid SUV is the most affordable model on the market and earns up to an EPA-estimated 50 mpg combined*. Available in five trims, the 2017 Kia Niro offers a strong set of premium features at a price few competitors can match.

The all-new Kia Niro starts at $23,875 MSRP and comes equipped with seating for up to five passengers. A four-cylinder engine paired to an electric motor and paired with an automatic transmission produces a total of 139 hp and 195 lb-ft of torque. Drivers will also see a standard 7-inch touchscreen, keyless entry, a rearview camera, steering-wheel-mounted audio controls and much more for that price.

The Niro easily undercuts many premium SUVs with a full offering of luxury features at an affordable price. Adding a premium sound system, navigation system, heated steering wheel, and leather-trimmed seats won’t put the Niro’s price over $31,000.

The new Kia Niro lands under the Sportage, making it the South Korean brand’s smallest SUV. Even so, it offers plenty of space and is comparable to the Honda HR-V.

We here at Gossett Kia South are pumped to see the 2017 Niro doing so well!
